Nick Rugnetta#3

Had a very successful club and High School career in Massachusetts, winning 2 MA State Titles, advancing to a Regional Final and being ranked the #5 Club team nationally in 2007 by GotSoccer. Team at Thayer won the Schools first 2 and only Independent School League Titles and also winning one New England Class B Title. After graduating, went on to a successful college career at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT and Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL.

Former Assistant Varsity Coach Thayer Academy Boys(2012), Former Head Coach Dedham High Varsity Boys(2013-2014), coached at NEFC for 5 years prior to joining FC Boston.

Entering 2nd year as MW Director for the club after serving as Assistant Director for 1 year. Also serves as the Scorpions NPL Director's with Bob Meals. Will coach the 2001 and 2004 NPL teams a long with the 2005 MW Elite team.

Jeb A. Booth, Ph.D.#5

Jeb has been with the club through all mergers since 2009. Coaching for more than 10 years, Jeb has coached both Boys and Girls from U7-U21. He holds licenses including USSF E (currently working on the USSF D), NSCAA Advanced Regional, and NSCAA Special Topics Diplomas on The Mental Game and Attacking Principles of Play. Jeb is beginning his first year as Assistant Coach for the Framingham State University Women’s Soccer team. Jeb has also been a Grade 8 Referee and referee assignor. Dan Guerra

During his youth, he grew up playing in Portugal in the Academy for Portugues Footbal Club Youth with Associação Naval 1º de Maio. As an academy player in Portugal, Guerra developed his skills playing Futsal. He then moved to the United States and continued to play youth soccer and later playing for Teams USA Olympic Select Team, U12 and U14 teams competing throughout Europe, North and South America, Massachusetts Olympic Development Program, and semi-professional player in the LUSO American Soccer League.  

Dan has a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Information Technology and Systems, and a Veteran of United States Marine Corps where he played for Camp Lejuene, North Carolina soccer teams.

Dave Noel#6

Dave has been coaching both boys and girls at the club level for 16 years. Prior to joining FC Boston Dave had merged his Central Mass club SCOR FC into FC Greater Boston Bolts and coached Girls and Boys Bolts teams. Dave is highly adept at all activities of club management and direction. Dave is currently serving as the Central Mass Girls Director. His youth playing years were spent at Fuller Hamlets, Sutton High School (Freshman - Senior) captain sr season, played through college years and beyond, Famingham State University

John Gillis#7

John has been coaching girls soccer at the club level for 8 years. Prior to joining FC Boston John had merged his Central Mass club SCOR FC into FC Greater Boston Bolts.  John coached several years at Hoosac Valley High School for both boys and girls at the junior varsity and varsity level.  John is currently serving as the Central Mass Girls Director. Evan Burokas#8

Evan is the full time Assistant Director for the FC Boston Central Region. Coach Burokas has arrived at the club highly recommended for his successful soccer career as both a player, and coach.

Burokas earned his International bachelors degree at Merrimack College where he went on to be named a Two Time Daktrnoic All American, Two Time Conference All Star, Two Time NE-10 Assist Leader, and Top-10 National Assist Leader. After a successful collegiate career, Burokas played three years of Semi Pro before earning his first Professional Three-Year contract with Western Mass Professional Soccer Club of the ASL. In 2015, Burokas’ Professional team claimed the Eastern Conference Championship, and was an ASL National Finalist.

At the age of 26, Coach Burokas has amassed 6 years of coaching experience with a variety of different colleges and club programs. In 2016, Burokas became the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach at Nationally Ranked #19 Merrimack College, and between 2013-2016 he was the assistant coach of the WPI Men’s Soccer Program. In 2014, WPI advanced to their programs first ever conference finals. He joined FC Boston in 2015 and lead the U14 Central Girls to a Scorpions Bowl Championship while suffering only one league defeat all season. He also coached the U18 Metro West Boys to an undefeated spring season, claiming the U18 NEP Championship along the way.

Allie Coppernrath

Allie started her collegiate playing career at the University of New Hampshire where she competed for 3 seasons. She finished playing eligibility at Northeastern University where Allie pursued her Masters in Sports Leadership. After fulfilling her playing eligibility Allie stayed on staff at Northeastern as the Volunteer Assistant for 3 seasons. Allie have been with FC Boston (formerly Scorpions SC) for 3 years now and she is also coaching JV Girls Soccer at Canton High School.

Nicolle Wood#9

Nicolle Wood enters her 8th season as the Vikings’ Head Women’s Soccer Coach. Wood served as the top assistant women's soccer coach at Salem State University for a decade prior to taking over the program in 2007. She is a 1995 SSU graduate, having played goalkeeper for the Lady Vikings from 1991 through 1994 and was a member of four Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference championship teams.

During her tenure as head coach, SSU stands at 66-57-16. She has coached 13 1st Team All MASCAC Selections and 26 2nd Team All MASCAC Selections. Wood also served on the SSU coaching staff when the Lady Vikings captured the 1999 and 2004 league crowns. She is the only SSU player or coach who has played a role in seven of the program's nine MASCAC titles since college added women's varsity soccer at NCAA Division 3 level in 1986. Wood participated in three NCAA tournaments and one ECAC tournament during her playing days and helped the Lady Vikings capture back-to-back (2002 & 2003) ECAC New England championships when she served as an assistant coach at SSU.

Wood, who worked as Director of Programs at High Performance Sports, Inc in Peabody for four years prior to taking over the SSU women's program, has been a featured presenter at Massachusetts Youth Soccer conferences and special events, including state-wide meetings, coaching education courses, and Olympic Development Program events. Robert Meals#11

Coach Meals is the current 2002 and 2000 NPL head coach for FC Boston. He holds is NSCAA Advanced National and National Diplomas and USSF National “D” Licenses. In 2016, Meals was named the Eastern Nazarene College Head Coach and looks for a promising start to his collegiate coaching career this fall.

Coach Meal’s has lead his teams to an NPL Semi-finals, the NEP MA State Semi Finals and several state operated tournament championships during his tenure with FC Boston. Tim Mason#12

Coach Mason currently coaches the 98/99 ECNL and 98/99 NPL teams for FC Boston. He is also the head high school varsity coach at Wellesley High School. Coach Mason holds his NSCAA National Diploma and FA Level 1 Licenses.

Neritan Mustafa#14

Neritan has coached youth soccer teams since 2006. He plays in a NE Soccer League and in the past has earned Referee Licenses. Through positive communication, Neritan has been teaching Soccer, guiding and helping players to develop character and playing without fear and with creativity while making great friends and having fun.

Neritan holds National C Coaching License from US Soccer Federation. CPR Certified. First Aid Licensed.

Mo Keita#17

Mo grew up in Guinea, Africa and became nationally known when he was chosen for the U14 National Team. Shortly after Mo moved to the United States he attended HS in Maryland, where he eventually came under the tutelage of Bob Surrette and began an impression array of awards: Best Offensive Player of the Year, All Tournament Player. In college, Mo first attended the Lynn University (ranked #1 in NCAA II) and moved on to a full scholarship at the University of Rhode Island (NCAA I) and All tournament team Atlantic 10 Champion.

Mo appeared twice in NCAA I Tournament. Mo trained in Germany with Ismanning FC and 1860 Munchen, returning to New Hampshire where he plays on the NH Phantoms and coaches/trains Hollis Atlantic teams and various clubs in New England.

Tara Galante#18

Tara currently coaches the 2006 FC Boston Central Scorpions team and has trained the U9, U10, and U11 Central Mass girls squads in the past. She formerly held the same roles for two years at SCOR FC.

Following graduation from the University of New Haven where she started for four years and was team MVP her sophomore and senior years (for whom she is 10th in career goals and 6th in points), Tara began her coaching career as an assistant coach at David Prouty and then moved to her alma mater, Shepherd Hill.  After a one year position as head women’s coach at Fitchburg State College, Tara took the head coaching position at Worcester Academy and, in a four year period, turned around a perennially sub-.500 program into the School’s first ever Women’s NEPSAC championship team.

Tara holds a Sports Management degree from the University of New Haven and a master’s degree in early education from Anna Maria College.  Tara has a NSCAA level VI coaching diploma. Dan Galante#19

Dan Galante coaches and trains the 2006 Central MA girls squad.  Dan had previously coached from the U6 to U12 levels for the FC Boston Girls Bolts and SCOR FC and has been coaching youth soccer for over 8 years.  Dan holds a NSCAA Level IV diploma.  A three sport captain in high school, Dan then attended Tufts University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering.  Dan is Vice President of a MA based construction company and is the Chairman of his Town’s Selectboard.  Dan has two daughters that play for Scorpion teams and his wife, Tara, also coaches for the Scorpions.
